Beki Brindle grew up playing lead guitar with the legendary James “Yank” Rachell of ‘Diving Duck’ and ‘She Caught The Katy’ fame.
In 1983, she was invited to Woodstock, NY by Rick Danko and Richard Manuel from THE BAND who had discovered her at Indiana University playing blues! Subsequently, Beki joined The Tom Pacheco band, and the Eric Andersen tour band.
She worked with Rick Danko, Richard Manuel, John Sebastian, and moved to Ireland to work with the Mary Stokes Blues Band, where she played The Guinness Jazz Festival in Cork City and the National TV show, “Night Hawks.”
While in Dublin she was commissioned by Bono of U2 to run a blues workshop at a new Rock School/TV show on RTE. The show was success and ran in Ireland, Italy and Sweden. The Rock School in Dublin is still going strong today!
She’s played with members of U2, The Waterboys, Thin Lizzy, and toured with Carey Bell, Johnny Mars, Joe Lewis Walker, Tampa Red and Fenton Robinson.
Beki remains a busy session guitarist in upstate New York and leads her own acclaimed Beki Brindle Band.
